Networking and hiring were the hallmarks of the GreatFutures Forum in Indianapolis recently. Four students were hired to the great fanfare of the Forum's public events. But the real story is the scope and enthusiasm of what is happening post-GreatFutures Forum. Scores of interviews will be happening at MCAA member offices around the country for both full-time and internship positions. Students will be visiting and spending quality time with MCAA members and those events and the ensuing positions offered and accepted will be the real fruit of the Forum!

The four students who publicly proclaimed their acceptance of on-site employment offers are:

Garrett Duncan of Iowa State University is headed to SIEMENS.

Luke Tackes of Missouri State University will join the team at Murphy Company.

Cole Zeiler found his great future with HMH Contractors, Inc.

Kenneth Bankard will be interning with F.E. Moran, Inc.

Congratulations to the new hires and the companies that MCAA members that hired them.

Each intern hired at a Forum public event received a $500 gift card on the spot. Each of the hiring companies, by the way, is eligible to receive a $1,000 internship grant from the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF). Learn more about the MCERF internship grants.
