Annual Student Chapter Competition

MCERF proudly underwrites numerous student chapter activities, including many that occur at the MCAA annual convention. For example, MCERF pays student registration fees, cash prize awards to Student Chapter Competition winners and placers, and various awards such as Educator of the Year and Student Chapter of the Year. But it all starts here!

The MCERF Complexity Measurement Tool (CMT) enables MEP practitioners to engage in new and exciting forms of building information analysis. It will raise awareness of MEP congestion and complexity by enabling the development of measurable and standardized values...in other words, metrics!

Students attending MCAA's GreatFutures Forum got a first-hand look at what it's really like to be a mechanical contractor thanks to "Ted: A Day in the Life." The video follows Ted McHugh of West Chester Mechanical Contractors in Aston, PA through a typical workday. In addition to highlighting the daily demands associated with keeping a project on time and within budget, it showcases how a great future is achievable in the mechanical industry.
