The New England Mechanical Contractors Association (NEMCA) recently sent a $10,000 donation to the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) in support of its education and research programs. NEMCA's latest contribution raises its total to almost $141,000.

In addition to the NEMCA contribution, MCERF also received generous payments on cash pledges made to the Foundation from the MCA of Connecticut and the Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois MCA. MCERF President Jack Wilhelmi noted that even during tough economic times, the Foundation has continued to benefit from the generosity of local associations, which has helped to sustain its programs that advance our industry. Wilhelmi and the Board of Trustees are very grateful to NEMCA, the MCAs of Connecticut and Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois and all its contributors for their continuing support.
