In the interest of enhancing the knowledge of faculty who teach construction management and mechanical engineering students, the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) subsidized the attendance of up to 10 construction management professors to MCAA's Strategic Estimating Conference, June 4 - 6 in Cleveland, OH. Attending faculty not only gained knowledge, but also new insight, into the rationale behind a company's decision to bid on a project ...or not ... and estimate the project for maximum productivity and profitability and future competitive advantage.
