MCA of Omaha Contributes $25,000 to MCERF
The MCA of Omaha recently sent the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) a check for $25,000 to, "...support the industry-critical education and research activities of the Foundation." MCA of Omaha President, Robert J. Barnes (Mechanical Systems, Inc., Omaha, NE) praised of all of MCERF's recent program development and support efforts stating, "Our members benefit from both the Foundation's support of higher education and from its research projects, such as the value chain study." Marsha Babcock, Executive VP of the MCA of Omaha, said that this contribution was something her Board members, "...felt strongly about and passed unanimously. We plan to continue our support and we urge the other affiliated associations to do the same." MCERF President Bob FitzGerald praised the MCA of Omaha for their generosity and thanked them for their long term support.
