Your search for summer interns to help with professional tasks begins at MCAA. First, read through our Management Methods Bulletin, How to Find, Hire and Manage Student Interns (http://www.mcaa.org/private/mgmtmeth/) for valuable tips on how to plan your search for positive results. Then, go to www.mcaa.org/careers and click on "contacts" in the yellow box on the right side of the page for a list of MCAA's student chapters, an excellent source for well-qualified intern candidates. The faculty advisor can tell you about student chapter members who are looking for summer internships. Once you find the right intern, then apply for a Student Internship Grant. Made possible with support provided by the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF), the $1,000 grant helps cover the cost of the intern's salary.
