David Gallo, president of Gallo Mechanical Contractors (Metairie, LA) recently presented the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) with a $25,000 contribution, his way of thanking those who helped him and his company recover from the devastation left by Hurricane Katrina. MCAA/MSCA contractors stepped up and provided funding, as well as spiritual and material support, to help Gallo and his colleagues along the Gulf Coast get back to business. "I thought long and hard about the best way to say thank you, and knowing this industry's commitment to the support and education of its members...and knowing Bob FitzGerald...it seemed the best way to give something back to all those who helped us."
