If your company is planning to hire a student intern this summer, then consider applying for a Student Internship Grant to help cover the cost. The Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) is making the grants available to all MCAA members who hire interns this year. The grants are $2,000 per company, but the intangible benefits to your company and the student are much greater. Your company gets to assess the knowledge and abilities of a potential future employee and the student gains valuable experience that can help his or her career.
