MCAA's Career Development Committee, which oversees the student chapter program, has announced the availability of Student Internship Grants for 2008. Funded by the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF), the grants are designed to encourage MCAA contractor members and Manufacturer/Supplier Council members to hire college students as interns. The grants help defray the cost of the intern's salary. Only one grant can be awarded to a company, and priority will be given to contractors who hire current members of MCAA student chapters.
