Braconier Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc. (Englewood, CO) contributed $3,000 to the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) last week, elevating the company to the Foundation's Patron Level. President Tom Stone serves on MCAA's Board of Directors and is also a contractor advisory member of the Foundation's Online Piping Usage and Specification (OPUS) project team. Stone cited his personal experience on this project in making the contribution: "OPUS is a leading-edge technology project that will be a fantastic resource for students, faculty, and new project personnel...and I've been given a chance to help develop and shape that resource. MCERF is making our industry better and our people more prepared to take on current and future challenges." MCERF President Bob FitzGerald thanked Braconier for its generosity and Stone for his personal contributions to the Foundation's efforts.
