MCERF Supports GreatFutures.

The Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation (MCERF) recently received two new, generous contributions week.  The first was a $1,000 personal contribution from D. Patrick (“Pat”) Lynch, Vice President of CCI Mechanical, Inc., in Salt Lake, UT.  The second was a first-ever contribution in the amount of $2,500 from the Plumbers & Pipefitters LU 421 Labor-Management Fund, which is located in North Charleston, SC.

JF Ahern Company Headquarters, Fond du Lac, WI

With its latest contribution, the JF Ahern Company of Fond du Lac, WI has now contributed a total of $125,000 to MCERF!  JFA challenges other MCAA and MSCA members to contribute to the Foundation and support its efforts to attract young people to the industry.

Dr. Blake Wentz wins Educator of the Year

Once again Dr. Blake Wentz, faculty advisor to the MCAA Student Chapter at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, was awarded the 2015 Educator of the Year at the Annual Awards of Excellence Breakfast on March 23 in Orlando, FL.  He received a $5,000 check from the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research...
